My Must-See Movies: ‘The One I Love’

Finally, what appears to be a good reason to spend $14 on a movie again.

An Emmy nominee this year only in my heart (snubs abound!), Elisabeth Moss is poised to have a big weekend of a different kind with the limited release of her new not-exactly-a-romcom indie, “The One I Love,” co-starring Mark Duplass (“The Mindy Project”).

I’ve been excited to see this complex relationship comedy with a dark edge since I first read about it coming out of Sundance in January, and one of the biggest perks of living in NYC is a still-thriving art house theater circuit that scoops up these smaller films on the premiere date (in this case, the Angelika). Good stuff.

So, needless to say, this one is at the top of my list once the Emmys have been handed out. Review coming soon to a screen near you.
